The Drake Football Study is the most comprehensive study to-date to monitor the long-term health of professional football (soccer) players.
The study was officially launched in October 2019, with recruitment actively beginning in the 2019/20 season.

The Drake Football Study is coordinated by the World Players’ Union, FIFPRO. Funding and support has been provided by founding funder The Drake Foundation, as well as collaborators across Europe including FIFPRO, University Medical Centres Amsterdam and Mehiläinen NEO Hospital.
